Advanced Studio: Secession Building

The project aims to invert the relationship between the mass of a building and surface ornament established by the original Secession building.  The object of desire, the golden dome, is typically inaccessible.  This proposal butchers the mass of the building into an ornament carcas of bone and torn flesh, turning the ornamental dome into gallery spaces nestled in building fragments.
